Since ancient times, symmetrical faces have been held up as an example of true beauty, and many famous people are praised for having beautiful looks that mirror each other.
In actuality, however, it is physically impossible to have a face that is absolutely symmetrical, as no two sides of the faces are identical in every way.
The majority of people are not trained in the art of face reading, or perhaps not trained to gaze at another person’s face with accuracy, unless they work in a field that requires them to do so, such as a make-up artist or an artist who is particularly skilled at drawing.
If you have the perseverance to just look at the mirror and examine your own face, you will see that either the left or the right side of your face is higher than the other.

The photo is shown as it is, just like you’re looking into someone’s face.
What can we learn from the Chinese art of face reading?
The right side of the face represents life after the age of 30, while the left side of the face represents life before that age.
When correctly examined, a person’s face may appear to be slightly more elevated on the right side or slightly more elevated on the left side. And what does that indicate?
It simply demonstrates that a person’s life is better either before the age of 30 if the left side of the face is more elevated or after the age of 30 if right side of the face is more elevated.
This is just the very first step in the process of learning the skill of Chinese face reading, and it is not yet the final step. It is not possible for us to simply draw a conclusion here. In the following post, I will make an attempt to go into Face Reading a little bit more depth.
Summary
Left side of the face slightly more elevated = age before 30 is better
Right side of the face slightly more elevated = age after 30 is better
If you have a slightly higher left side of the face, whether you are male or female, it simply signifies that you are younger than 30. And if the right side of the face is slightly elevated, it indicates that life improves beyond the age of 30.
