Fire
A candle fire, a forest fire, the fire from the sun or a volcano are all examples of fire.
Summer is prime season for the intensity of the connection between fire and heat. When it’s hot outside, you’ll notice that everything is growing at a rapid pace. During this time, blooms and fruits begin to appear on the plant. In adolescence, animals go through this process.
Summertime and flora and fauna are both good examples of the kind of attributes we associate with Fire because of their ability to continue to expand following the beginning of Spring.
Characteristics
This suggests that the characteristics of great spirit, openness, and creativity can be seen in the Fire-type of human behavior patterns.
Health
The heart and small intestines were also thought to be linked to fire by the ancients. That’s why it can make a person sad and miserable when the heart, the main Fire organ, is out of balance. This makes the person less happy and less able to enjoy what they do in life. Thus, when they are out of balance, they can be sad, heartbroken, depressed, and even a little crazy and excited.

The tongue and speech can be affected when someone has heart blockages and/or weakness. They can also have low or high blood pressure, palpitations, and problems with their left side of their body. They will also have a lack of high spirits and happiness in their lives, or even become manic and hysterical.
You can see that there are Western parallels to these observations. When people were sad, they had a broken heart, and when they were happy, they were very hearty, so these observations make sense. That’s not to say that people in the east didn’t have complicated and deep ideas about how to cure our illnesses, bad traits, and become better, healthier people in all three ways. They used these ideas to help us heal through energy healing as well as other natural healing methods.
