There are 12 distinct types of Qi present throughout the period of a calendar year, each of which corresponds to the activities that are appropriate for that particular day.
The 12 Day Officers is one of the Feng Shui date selecting techniques. It is necessary for distinguishing between generic and good useable dates. This technique corresponds to 12 Day Officers (Deities).
“Deity” has no relation to spirit or divine characteristics. They are employed in both FengShui and BaZi Four Pillars of Destiny analyses.
The titles of these 12 Day Officers are taken from the twelve forms of Qi energy that manage the day’s Qi body. The principle of the 12 Day Officers is that each day of the month is governed by a single officer. There are a total of 12 officers, therefore the name “12 Day Officers.”
This officer is formed from the day branch “曰支” of a specific month branch “月令”. When a day’s branch matches the month’s branch, the officer is referred to as “Establish 建(Jian)”. This indicates that an Establish 建(Jian) will always have the same terrestrial branch for a given month.

Conclusion
The 12 Day Officer is a roadmap for the majority of us. In Chinese Metaphysics, we must still consider the Bazi (the day and time of a person’s birth) in order to make optimal use of the date selection.
The majority of individuals will employ date selection for business and personal objectives. Commercial examples include the signing of contracts, the opening of retail establishments, the beginning of particular events, and the groundbreaking ceremony. For personal reasons, many use date selection for medication such as surgery, the start of a new job, the move to a new location, or even the purchase of a new car.
The date selection and commencement philosophy are of tremendous importance. It implies that if everything has a good start, it will also have positive energy.
